Nutmeg Flower / Mace

Nutmeg Flower or Mace is the reddish covering of the nutmeg . They are widely cultivated and marketed in Kerala. Nutmeg and mace have similar flavour. However, while nutmeg is slightly sweeter, mace has a more delicate flavour. This spice contains fair amounts of Vitamins & Minerals.
